Simple Animal Design

Standard Conditions of Sale of Simple Animal Design (the seller)


  • Unless agreed in writing by the seller, all sales to the buyer shall be upon and subject to these standard conditions of sale.
  • In the case of any inconsistency between these conditions and the terms of any other document from the buyer, these conditions shall prevail.
  • No order submitted by the buyer shall be deemed accepted until it is confirmed by the seller.
  • There is no minimum order
  • Specially ordered items cannot be returned.


Appearance of the Products

  • We try our very best to maintain the same positioning and consistency in colour however, all Simple Animal products are hand printed in London, and are therefore originals that may not always look exactly the same.

Payment (UK Only)

  • All deliveries will be sent out by our courier for £3 (UK only)
  • All orders must be paid via the payment methods available on the website www.simple-animal.co.uk
  • All prices stated, are payable in £ (GBP) or € (EUR).
  • Where deliveries in partial fulfilment of orders made, invoices will be issued in respect of that part of any order delivered and payment shall be made in accordance with the above.
  • The seller reserves the right to charge interest on accounts not settled by due date and will exercise its statutory right to claim interest and compensation for debt recovery costs under the late payment legislation if the seller is not paid according to agreed credit terms.   • If payment is not made by the due date, the seller reserves the right to suspend further deliveries until payment is made in full.

Payment (Outside of UK)

  • All orders being shipped outside of the UK require pre-payment before dispatch, unless previously agreed with the seller.
  • Payment can be made in GBP or EUR.
  • Where deliveries in partial fulfilment of orders made, invoices will be issued in respect of that part of any order delivered and payment shall be made in accordance with the above.

Postage (UK Only)

  • A £3.00 handling charge will be applied to all orders.

Postage (Outside of UK)

  • A £6.00 handling charge will be applied to all orders within Europe.
  • A £10.00 handling charge will be applied to all orders outside of Europe.
  • Orders being dispatched to outside of the UK may incur custom charges which will be chargeable to the buyer.


  • Every effort is made to deliver goods as soon as ready. However, despatch or delivery dates are business estimates only and in no case is delivery on or by a fixed date a term of contract. Late delivery shall not be a ground for cancellation or refusal to take delivery. The seller accepts no liability for any loss (including consequential loss) or damages whatsoever and howsoever caused resulting from any delays in delivery in any circumstances.
  • All orders will be sent out complete. If an item is out of stock, you will be informed of the delay and the order will be sent once all items are in stock.
  • If you require the items to be sent separately, an additional postage charge may be charged.
  • The seller is not in any case liable for loss or damage, unless it be informed by the customer:
  • i)in the case of short delivery, within 5 working days from the date of delivery

                        ii )in the case of damage, within 12             working days from the date of invoice

  • Damaged goods are not to be returned except at the express request of the seller.


In any event, the seller shall be entitled without prior notice, to adjust the stated price to take account of:

  1. i) Any cost to the Seller resulting from delay by the purchaser, in giving the seller sufficient information to enable it to supply the goods or resulting from any alteration made at the request of the purchaser in the place to which they are to be delivered.
  2. ii) Any increase in the cost to the seller of producing or delivering goods, to which occurs due to causes beyond the seller’s control between the date of the contract and the date when the delivery is complete, including, but without limitation increases in wages, materials, production, or other costs of fluctuation in currency exchange rates, taxes, or similar levies and duties.

iii) Any extra costs to the seller, resulting from goods being carried at the purchaser’s request, by methods other than those normally used.

Return of Goods

  • No returns may be made without prior written authorisation.
  • The seller cannot accept returns if:
  1. i) Merchandise was shipped in perfect condition and in accordance with the buyer’s instructions
  2. ii) Styles have been discontinued

iii) Merchandise is not in its original, intact packages as shipped

  1. iv) Merchandise is soiled or otherwise unsaleable

Property and Risk

Property of the goods shall remain in the seller until the seller has received payment in full of the purchase price of the goods. If such payment is overdue in whole or part, the seller may without prejudice to any other remedies, recover or resell the goods or any of them and for those purposes the seller by its servants or agents enter the purchaser’s premises to retake the goods.

  • The risk in goods sold by the seller, passes to the purchaser upon delivery to the purchaser or the purchaser’s agent.

Governing Law

  • The agreement shall be governed and construed in all respects in accordance with the English Law.
